Professional support
Talk to a qualified professional about your child
Write in a question and have a qualified child development professional reply in writing, or take a 50-minute online session. Both are opening soon, and both will be open to Duyoo members and to families who are not members.
Standard members get one free Expert Q&A every month and 15% off specialist sessions. Premium members get two free every month and 25% off sessions.
Duyoo offers developmental guidance and practical strategies. It does not diagnose and does not replace clinical assessment.

Being clear
What we can and cannot help with
It is worth knowing where expert support fits before you join, so you know what to expect when it opens.
What a Q&A or session covers
- Questions about how your child is playing, talking, moving or getting along with others
- Making sense of your Duyoo assessment and what it points to
- Practical strategies to try at home, and how to fit them into an ordinary week
- Deciding whether something is worth raising with your health visitor, GP or nursery
What it does not do
- Diagnosing a developmental condition. Duyoo does not diagnose
- Replacing a clinical assessment, therapy or the care of your GP or health visitor
- Writing reports or referrals for nursery, school or the local authority
- Urgent, safeguarding or medical concerns. Please contact your GP, NHS 111 or your local children's services
Duyoo does not diagnose developmental conditions or replace clinical assessment. If a professional thinks your child would benefit from a clinical assessment, they will say so plainly and explain who to speak to, usually your health visitor, GP or nursery SENCO. If you are worried about a child's immediate safety or health, contact your GP, NHS 111 or emergency services rather than waiting for this.
